A New Space Telescope Has Launched to Hunt Down the Universe's Missing Pieces

What happened
On 30 August 2026, NASA launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. It lifted off at 7:26am Eastern Time on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The launch worked.
